top spot on this week's Lycos 50. Meanwhile, an apparent teen pregnancy boom
at Gloucester High School in Gloucester, Mass., causes a spike in search
activity for the school, gaining 300 percent following national coverage in
TIME Magazine. Of the 17 teen students who are expecting babies, TIME reports
the students opted into a pact to get pregnant and raise their children
together, although the Gloucester Superintendent of Schools and the Mayor of
Gloucester claim they have no confirmation or proof such a pact exists. And in
other teen pregnancy news, search interest in actress Jamie Lynn Spears, best
known as little sister to Britney, and star of the Disney Channel's "Zoey
101," sees a 500 percent bump after giving birth last week to a baby girl.
Finally, if web search activity is any indication, "America's Got Talent" is
the big winner with web users this summer, gaining 470 percent in search
