Megan's first film was in the Holiday in the Sun (2001) as a spoiled heiress Brianna Wallace. Between 2003 and 2004, Fox would land guest roles in Ocean Ave., What I Like About You, Two and a Half Men and The Help. In 2004, Fox would star alongside Lindsay Lohan in Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen. She would subsequently be cast in her first recurring role in the TV series Hope & Faith from 2004-2006, where she portrayed Sydney Shanowski.
The breakthrough role for Megan Fox was her aquisition of the female lead, Mikaela Banes, in the live action film Transformers (2007) alongside Shia LaBeouf's Sam Witwicky. Fox was also cast in How to Lose Friends & Alienate People (2008) alongside Jeff Bridges and Kirsten Dunst where she played the role of a Hollywood starlet.
Fox has appeared in FHM's November 2005 issue and would later appear in the March 2007 issue. Megan also modelled for the June 2007 issue of GQ Mmagazine, the July 2007 Maxim, and the Arena Magazine September 2007. In 2008, FHM Magazine announced Megan as voted the Sexiest Woman in the World beating both Jessica Biel and Jessica Alba. Fox has formal representation by The Gersh Agency.
