MEGAN FOX

Megan Denise Fox was born on May 16, 1986.  She is both an model and actress. Fox got started in acting and modeling after she won several at the American Modeling and Talent Convention in 1999 at the Hilton Head Island in South Carolina.  Megan started her career in film with the film Holiday in the Sun (2001) then appearing later in the Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, Crimes of Fashion, and the television series The Help (all 2004). Megan Fox is most well known for her television series Hope & Faith (2004) and in the blockbuster film Transformers (2007).

Fox is of mixed ancestry being Irish, French and Native American. She was born the daughter of Frank Fox and Darlene Tonachio in Oak Ridge, Tennessee growing up nearby in Rockwood, Tennessee and is said to have been raised in poverty with an older sister. Megan's first break was a film offer by Elite Pictures London for a starring role. Fox began training in drama and dance at the early age of 5 in Kingston, Tennessee where she also took dance class. She was also involved in the chorus at Kingston Elementary and the Kingston Clippers swim team. After age 10, she moved to Florida where she continued training and completed her high school education.

Fox's training in dance and her natural beauty opened new opportunities in the entertainment field by age 13. Megan started both acting and modeling after winning several awards in South Carolina at the 1999 American Modeling and Talent Convention.
 
Megan's first film was in the Holiday in the Sun (2001) as a spoiled heiress Brianna Wallace.  Between 2003 and 2004, Fox would land guest roles in Ocean Ave., What I Like About You, Two and a Half Men and The Help. In 2004, Fox would star alongside Lindsay Lohan in Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen.  She would subsequently be cast in her first recurring role in the TV series Hope & Faith from 2004-2006, where she portrayed Sydney Shanowski.

The breakthrough role for Megan Fox was her aquisition of the female lead, Mikaela Banes, in the live action film Transformers (2007) alongside Shia LaBeouf's Sam Witwicky.  Fox was also cast in How to Lose Friends & Alienate People (2008) alongside Jeff Bridges and Kirsten Dunst where she played the role of a Hollywood starlet.

Fox has appeared in FHM's November 2005 issue and would later appear in the March 2007 issue. Megan also modelled for the June 2007 issue of GQ Mmagazine, the July 2007 Maxim, and the Arena Magazine September 2007.  In 2008, FHM Magazine announced Megan as voted the Sexiest Woman in the World beating both Jessica Biel and Jessica Alba.  Fox has formal representation by The Gersh Agency.

Fox was formerly engaged to Brian Austin Green, actor of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles and Beverly Hills, 90210.

Nine tattoos are on Megan Fox, which she has gets when she has "a feeling about anything".  Tattos include a poem on her midsection, the symbol of strength on her neck, her ex-boyfriend Brian's name on her hip and an image of Marilyn Monroe on her right arm.  A quote is on her right shoulder reading "We will all laugh at gilded butterflies" - a quote from Shakespeare's King Lear.

Megan admits to experimental drug use admitting "that's how I know I don't like them," and saying she is one of few in Hollywood not using them.
